There are many “things to do” in the Bradenton/Sarasota area and beyond, such as visiting Robinson Preserve, Emerson Point, DeSoto Park, St. Armand’s Circle, Longboat Key, Lakewood Ranch, St. Pete attractions, Tampa attractions and so much more all within a half hour to 45 minute drive. Ridgewood Oaks is about an hour and a half from Orlando; 3-4 hours from the East Coast of Florida, St. Augustine/Jacksonville areas; all of which have another whole gamut of things to do. To the south, it is about 2 hours to the Fort Myers area, 3 hours to Naples and 5-6 hours to the Florida Keys.
